About this experience
Osian, north of Jodhpur, is an ancient temple town on the edge of the Thar desert. It is known for its beautifully carved Hindu and Jain temples, dating back more than a thousand years - including the Mahavira Jain temple and the hilltop Sachiya Mata temple.
After exploring the temples, head out to the sand dunes for a camel ride across the desert, ideally as the sun goes down and the sand turns golden.
