  Such projects provide an inter-cultural learning experience and the real opportunity to explore a new country and a new culture in a deeper way than as tourists. The natural, healthy exchange of ideas and opinions can lead to a mutual understanding and respect of different traditions and cultures in only a short amount of time. The experience is likely to change how you see the world. You will interact with local community members, not only getting a chance to see their traditional culture but to understand it on a more meaningful level. Most projects take place in the surrounding Vishnoi's Villages. All Bishnois believe in the sanctity of animal and plant life, which was encouraged by the 15th century Guru ‘Jambheshwar’ who created a classless community in which all were accepted. His only requirement was that one had to embrace his 29 life principles which appear in the form of 29 basic tenets. These included commandments such as ‘never to kill or eat any animal’ and ‘never to cut down a living tree’. Bishnois was the world's first ecological religion and became known as the earliest environmentalists.
