Dear Mandore Guest House Family,
Almost exactly a year ago i came with Lisa and a group from Explore Worldwide to spend an evening in the delightful garden of your house. For me it was one of the highlights of the three weeks or so of our visit to your conuntry because-in the company of your charming and highly intelligent family I was able to forget that I was a mere tourist.
We all enjoyed the delicious food that you served to us and i specially appreciate the opprtunity for conversation with you. From it I was able to learn a little more about life in India and in particular to dicover how the different generations manage to reconcile tradition and inevitable change. I send my sincere thanks to all the family.
I was very interested to learn of your involment in voluntry work to help drug addicts and other people in need. For some years my wife was a trustee and an active worker for the charity Oxfam. she still helps some charities and we try to give(we are retired teachers) as much financial support as we can to so-called good causes.
